The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar representation of quality farming, mature vines and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with soils, fog and sea that brings Pinot Noir to life. Sourced from Olivet, Lola, Bohan, Placida, and Floodgate. Roughly 60% of the wine in this bottling was estate-grown and farmed. Native fermented, with full malolactic fermentation, and aged in French oak, of which 15% was new. The 2018 – Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir offers aromas of rose, sandalwood, pomegranate and tart cherry. The palate is lush with soft tannin, but held taught with the structure and acidity needed for an exceptionally balanced wine.
