Elyse Nero Misto Red Blend 2018, California

Nero Missto (mixed black) is reminiscent of the old California-Italian field blends. This wine is a blend of a unique selection of wonderful lesser known black grapes. A combination of unique vineyard sites, each parcel adds to the layers of this wine and its polished, approachable character. Spanning three appellations of Northern California, this wine is proof that sometimes the sum is greater than its parts.
“Our 2018 Nero misto is a dry medium to fullbodied red blend of Petite Sirah, Touriga Nacional,
and Charbono. Beautiful aromas of roasted fig, blackberry, and clove. On the palate the wine is dry
with medium firm tannins that finish clean.” 41% Petite Sirah, 35% Touriga Nacional, 34% Charbono. Aged 14 months in French oak (50% new).
