2016 vintage – 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec. 28-31 day maceration. Aged on fine lees and racked once before bottling. Aged in 43% new French oak barrels. This is just a spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley! This medium bodied wine is both lithe and expressive, with embracing tannins wrapping gently around a focused core of dried herb-accented black cherry and licorice flavors, dancing with finesse on the finish. Ceres, the ancient goddess of agriculture, is the muse of the winery. This Roman deity embodies the region’s rich agricultural history and the family’s farming roots.
