Located in the heart of Burgundy in Hautes-Cotes de Nuits, a few kilometres from Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Patrick Hudelot has 22 hectares of organically grown vines. For this wine, the Pinot Noir bunches are grown on clay-limestone and marl soils. The average age of the vineyard is between 25 and 35 years. Winemaking: The grapes are sorted and completely destemmed. This wine is fermented naturally in vats for 2 to 3 weeks with daily punching down and possibly pumping over to promote fermentation. To preserve all the fruitiness of this cuvée, this wine is aged for 9 months in vats. Tasting notes: inot Noir as we like it, silky tannins, aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry).
