For more than 100 years, each generation has dedicated its life to this village and its vineyards, nestled north of the C?te de Nuits. In 40 years, the estate has grown from 3 hectares to 16 today. And even if some plots are located in Chambolle-Musigny, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin, it is in Marsannay-la-C?te that the heart of Domaine Collotte beats. Grape variety: Pinot Noir. Vinification and ageing: “We carry out the same vinification and the same ageing on all our terroir vintages. Our ambition: to offer the opportunity to feel all the aromatic nuances that the terroir brings to the wines. Thanks to a similar vinification and ageing for all the cuv?es, it is thus possible to perceive each terroir in its simplest expression.” Wine style: A very fruity nose with smoky notes. In the mouth, the attack is very supple with a slightly more tense finish and a nice length. Ageing potential: between 10 and 15 years depending on the vintage.
