This small vineyard was created by the Dupeyrat Family in 1961, then exploited by Henry Chabut-Janoueix (who also owes Chateau Saint-Genes, Cotes de Castillon and Chateau Fanc-Cantenac, Saint Emilion Grand Cru) in 1997. Top quality and very rare wines. Success guaranteed. The Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion appellation is located on a hillside, facing directly South, in front of Saint-Emilion. It remains the smallest appellation in the Bordeaux area (180 hectares). Grapes: 80% Merlot Noir for the roundness, 20% Cabernet Franc for the elegance. Today, this Chateau is part of the Joseph Janoueix family estate, and has strongly contributed for around a century to the reputation of the Libourne wines.
