Grape Variety: Pinot Noir. Soil: Clay and limestone. Site: A Chanson “monopole” in the very heart of the first Growths vineyards of Beaune. The vineyard covering 3.80 ha is located on a mid slope. The “Clos des Feves” was already known in the 14th century under the Latin word “Fae”. The red wines develop beautiful aromas of ripe red and black berries with a fleshy texture. Aging in oak casks during 17 months. Tasting : Bright ruby color. Delicate fragrances of peony, roses mixed with aromas of raspberries, black-berries and cherries. Notes of black chocolate, roasted coffee, liquorice mixed with cedar. Well-balanced and concentrated. Ample with a powerful tannic structure. Long and refreshing finish full of elegance.
