A blend of 90% Pignoletto, with a balance of Montuni, Chardonnay and Riesling. Intensely fruity on the nose, it is dry and harmonious on the palate. Cantina Fratelli Carafoli was founded by Mauro Carafoli in 1919. The winery is located in the small town of Ravarino, just a few kilometers from Sorbara, the heart of Lambrusco production. In 1951, Domenico and Enzo began working with their father to improve the quality of their wines and increase production. In 1965, the family acquired 20 hectares of vineyards in Sorbara, which remain a source of pride for them today. These 20 hectares are in a thin strip of land between the Secchia and Panaro rivers where the soil is rich in nutrients, but also loose and permeable with excellent drainage.
