100% Garnacha de Aragón, the oldest clone of Garnacha (Grenache) in the world. Garnacha (Grenache) was first cultivated in this northeastern corner of Spain and transferred across the Mediterranean by the Kingdom of Aragón. Vineyards: Multiple old mountain vineyards. (El Plano, Barranco de la Rambla, Cerro Verde, Cerro del Cura, La Laguna). Traditional dry farmed viticulture. Organic Gobelet trained vines. Cultivated completely by hand, with minimal human intervention. The majority of the vineyards receive no treatments whatsoever. Winemaking: Hand-harvested and stored in small 20 kg boxes. Fermentation takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks with wild yeast. Aged in concrete and stainless steel tanks.
