Bergevin Lane Winery nurtures wines that embody the truly unique environment of Walla Walla, Columbia and Yakima Valleys and the distinct single vineyards from where the rich terrestrial wines come from. The northerly latitude provides for an extended growing season with long sunshine filled days balanced by cool evening temperatures. This allows grapes to develop flavor and complexity slowly, while retaining natural acidity. Complex soils composed of loam, silt, loess and cobbles offer perfect drainage. 2013 “Wild Child” Merlot: 100% Merlot (95% Stone Tree Vineyards – Wahluke Slope, 5% Bergevin Springs Vineyard, Walla Walla Valley).
