This is an Estate grown and bottled Viognier from Bergevin Springs vineyard. Very aromatic with a pale straw color. Flavors of Meyer lemon, tangerine and musk melon with notes of honeysuckle, citrus and light honey notes. The grapes were pressed whoe berry, creating richer expressive fruit flavors while perserving the delicate floral flavors. Extended aging on the fermentation lees leads to creaminess helping bring the aromas and flavors into balance. The idea behind this wine is to create an aromatic, romantic wine with elegance, using tried and true old world techniques. Aging: 11 months in 10% new Hungarian oak and 90% neutral oak.
