Winemaker’s Comments: “Merlot in Washington is big, rich wine. Dense, powerful and not to be taken lightly, this 2017 is once again a Cabernet lover’s Merlot. Supple on the entry, showing harmonious flavors of plum, cherry & raspberry accented by notes of bittersweet chocolate and toasted coconut. This superbly balanced and crafted Merlot would be an excellent match for seared beef fillet or tender pork shoulder.
