Auchentoshan’s clean, complex character starts with malted optic barley, unpeated and gently kilned. Oregon pine is used for fermentation. Being the only triple-distilled single malt in Scotland results in taste that is both smooth and delicate. Since the oak casks have a huge influence on flavor, Auchentoshan uses casks that have held bourbon, sherry or fine wines – each lending its own unique flavor. Matured for over 12 years.
