Domaine Adélie is located in the Côte Chalonnaise village of Mercurey. Its 7,8 hectares of vines are divided among different plots that produce delectable, rich red wines and subtle, elegant whites. The estate is named after Albéric Bichot’s daughter who was born in 2003, further anchoring the Bichot family’s roots in Burgundy from generation to generation. Respect for the terroir and for nature is essential for us. We practice sustainable and organic viticulture. Starting with the 2018 vintage, the wines of Domaine Adélie will bear the certified ‘organic wine’ label. The “Champ Renard” vineyard of Domaine Adélie is located at the entrance of the village of Mercurey. In terms of wine, it is worked according to the same spirit and the same traditional methods as the Chardonnay vines. The Aligoté grape from Champ Renard both gives the sensation of a wine with a modest approach, but which provides freshness and roundness through its aging.
