Product Description

Barnard Griffin Winery is situated in south-central Washington at the confluence of the Yakima, Columbia, and Snake Rivers, in the heart of Washington State’s wine country. Founded in 1983 by Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard, Barnard Griffin has been producing award-winning wines for over 30 years. 2016 vintage Chardonnay – 38% barrel fermented in French oak. “This Chardonnay has an intriguing combination of citrusy aromas, firm acidity and a very ripe flavor profile; another outstanding vintage for the variety. Offering both classic Washington Chardonnay style and structure, this crisp, refreshing white doesn’t disappoint. Layers of apple, pear and tangerine greet the palate with an
underpinning of toasty oak. Excellent as an everyday wine to accompany a broad range of foods.
“- Rob Griffin, Proprietor-Winemaker
